Euphaim Veatch, Lady Gifford

Dates:
fl 1660

Euphaim Veatch was the wife of James Gifford, sculptor. The couple are believed to have had five children, as her statue was originally surrounded by five children. These, however, had disappeared by the mid nineteenth century.

A carved marriage panel, also by James Gifford, shows Euphaim Veatch in relief, with her name and a coat of arms.
