The daughter of Robert Meldrum and Elizabeth C Meldrum, nee Graham, Janet M. Meldrum was born in 1926 in Kinross. She worked in a bobbin mill. She was a Private in the A.T.S. during the Second World War. She died on pulmonary tuberculosis on 21 May 1946.
