The only daughter and heiress of Sir Hew Dalrymple-Hamilton of Bargany and the Hon Jane Duncan, she was born in 1801.
She married Augustin Louis Joseph de Franquetot, Duc de Coigny, in 1822. They had two daughters, Louisa and Georgiana.
She was widowed in 1865 and died in 1869.
