Catherine Cook Miller

Catherine Cook Miller was born in 1888 in Glasgow, the daughter of William and Isabella Miller. She was named after her grandmother. In the 1911 census she was a hospital nurse at Dunfermline Fever Hospital.

She joined the SWH in 1917 and joined the London unit in Russia. She fell ill with malaria and returned home. She died at the Liverpool Military Hospital, aged thirty.

Catherine is commemorated at the Dunfermline War Memorial and at St. Giles in Edinburgh.
