Stables is also commemorated on the Grantown-on-Spey War Memorial.

The Nethybridge war memorial is a very tall and tapering grey granite celtic cross, with a small wheel-head, set on a tapering pedestal and cairn. The entire monument stands on a low granite plinth. The commemoration is inscribed in painted lettering at the base of the cross shaft, and the names of the dead are listed on the faces of the pedestal.
