Anne was the daughter of Peter Edgar of Bridgelands, and Ann Hay. She married James Leslie of Deanhaugh and had a daughter, Jacob Leslie. She was widowed. She met Henry Raeburn when he painted her portrait. They married and had two sons, Peter and Henry.

Josephine Ogilvie
Josephine Ogilvie was born in Edinburgh. She became a member of the Society of the Sacred Heart, a teaching order of nuns in 1953. She taught in Armagh, Craiglockhart in Edinburgh and at Kilgraston in Perthshire before moving to Aberdeen in 1983. She taught at a primary school and was then promoted to religious education adviser for the Diocese of Aberdeen.

The daughter of Admiral Adam Duncan of Camperdown and Henrietta Dundas.
She married Sir Hew Dalrymple-Hamilton on 19 May 1800. The couple had one child, Henrietta.
She was widowed in 1834 and died in 1852.

Henrietta Dundas Dalrymple-Hamilton
The only daughter and heiress of Sir Hew Dalrymple-Hamilton of Bargany and the Hon Jane Duncan, she was born in 1801.
She married Augustin Louis Joseph de Franquetot, Duc de Coigny, in 1822. They had two daughters, Louisa and Georgiana.
She was widowed in 1865 and died in 1869.
