She is buried in Clyne New Burial Ground, also known as Brora Cemetery, Clyne in Grave number E.630.
Williamina also had two brothers – Alexander, Royal Engineers and Thomas, Cameron Highlanders who were both killed in the war.
She also had a brother-in-law who also died in the war.

Katherine Grainger

Born in 1975 in Glasgow, Katherine Grainger has won medals at four consecutive Olympic Games; silver in 2000, 2004 and 2008, and gold at the 2012 London Olympics.

She was created an MBE in 2006.

In the 2016 Rio Olympic Games Katherine won a silver medal in the double skulls with Victoria (Vicky) Thornley.

Mrs Bramwell Booth

Florence was born in Blaina, Monmouthshire, South Wales on 12th September 1861. Her parents were Isobel Soper, a Doctor, and Jenny Levick. She had two sisters and a brother, all younger. When she was 9 years old her mother died and she lived with one of her aunts until her father remarried. She was a gifted musician and had an active childhood.

Florence joined the Salvation Army in 1880 and worked alongside Bramwell's sister Catherine in France.

Emma Caird or Marryat

Emma Grace Caird was born 23 August 1849, the youngest daughter of wealthy mill owner Edward Caird and his second wife Grace Caw. Emma had a close sibling relationship with her elder half-brother, James (later Sir James) Caird, with whom she traveled extensively.

In 1892, aged 43, Emma married Lt Col Herbert Marryat of the Manchester Regiment. Their only daughter, Grace Lois Caird Marryat died in infancy in 1893.
