1633 Marion Dowglas, Lady of Drum, widow and relict of the forsaid Alexander Irvine of Drum did mortifie three thousand merks Scots for maintenance of poore widowes and aged virgens of the town of Aberdeen. Item she left in legacy three hundred merks for building or buying an house for them.
