Agnes Dunbar Wilson

Agnes Dunbar Wilson was the daughter of Angus Wilson and Isabella Campbell, who married in Dumfries in 1925.

She was killed in a motor accident while in active service in England.

Betty Helen Stewart Cochran

Betty Cochran was the younger daughter of George Nelson Cochran and Alice Wallace Cochran, of Tayport, Fife.

She attended Dundee High School and Polam Hall, Darlington, where she gained an Honours Certificate with distinction in mathematics in the Cambridge examination.

She became a legal apprentice in Dundee and then graduated in law from the University of Edinburgh, in 1938. She was described as a "brilliant scholar."

She was a keen sportswoman and enjoyed golf, tennis, hockey, lacrosse and horse riding. She also played the piano.
