Margaret Agnes Miller

The daughter of James and Mary Miller, she was born at Millerston.

She worked as a bank clerk before joining the WAAF. She was an Aircraftwoman 1st Class.

She died in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, aged 18, of a thyroid condition.

Monica Nancy Jane Grose

Monica Grose was the younger daughter of Ambrose W. Grose, and of Endeleine (Lena) H. Grose, of Chapel Amble, Cornwall. Her elder sister Theresa Mary died aged 3 in 1920.

Monica Grose was an equipment corporal in 70 Wing.

She died when the lorry in which she was travelling struck a wall. She was thrown out and died of a fractured skull.

The daughter of John and Jessie Lobban Ross Brand, of Keith. She had started training as a nurse prior to enlisting. She served with the 953 Balloon Sqdn.She was killed by enemy action three weeks before she was due to be married.
