Christina Clark was the daughter of Alexander Clark, coal miner (serving in the Royal Scots at the time of her death) and Rebecca Gibson. She had an older brother, James. She lived at 27 Avenue Square, New Craighall. She was a pithead girl and was killed instantly when she was struck on the throat by a handle which had broken off from a crane.
