Isabella Henry

The daughter of David Henry, road labourer and his wife Margaret, Isabella was born around 1876, in Macduff. In the 1881 census Isabella was living with her parents, four sisters and two brothers at 1 Market Street, Macduff. Isabella's older sister, Jeannie, married Walford Brodie, Music Hall magician, and Isabella became one of his assistants, under the stage name "La Belle Electra". She died in Glasgow in 1919. Although aged 43 at the time of her death, her age was widely reported as "late twenties."

Marie Walford

The sister-in-law of Walford Bodie, the "Electrical Wizard of the North," Marie assisted him in his Music Hall performances. His stage act included levitation, and Marie was known as "Mystic Marie, the Electric-Magnetic Floating Lady.

Jeannie Bodie

Jeannie Bodie was the daughter of Samuel Murphy Walford Bodie and Jeannie Henry. Her father, better known as Walford Bodie, the Electrical Wizard of the North, was a Music Hall entertainer whose act included illusions, ventriloquism and electrical tricks. Several of his relatives performed in his shows, including Jeannie. Jeannie died, aged 18, of tuberculosis, from which she had suffered for two years.
