Jean Lorimer MacLaren

July 1888- 23 May 1973

Jean Lorimer MacLaren was born in Brentford, Middlesex, in 1888, the eldest daughter of John MacLaren and Jean Colquhon, both of whom came from Perthshire.

She was living in Edinburgh with her parents in 1891.

In 1901 the family were living in Dull, Aberfeldy.

Both of her brothers, Ian and Malcolm, were killed in the First World War.

She was an elder at Fortingall Church.

She died at Aberfeldy on 23 May 1973.

Margaret Elizabeth A. Hendry

1948 - 8 April 2012

Margaret E.A. Hendry was a chorister from the age of sixteen. She was a life member of the Stirling and Bridge of Allan Operatic Society. She was an elder of the Church of the Holy Rude, Stirling.

She was Head of Administration at Stirling University Department of History, and as such her name appears amongst the acknowledgements in several publications.

Elizabeth Mackay

Elizabeth Robertson Mackay

Daughter of Rev. Dr. Thomas Mackay. First woman elder of Dornoch Cathedral. She had a keen interest in archaeology. She died on the 900 anniversary of St Margaret's death.
